Hi all, thought I hadn't posted a journal like this in a while, so here it is, for those new to my work/dA etc :)

________________________________________________________________________________________

I'm a graphic designer during the daylight hours, based in Adelaide. I have been interested in photography since my grandfather first handed me an SX70 Polaroid camera in my early teens. Since then, and after the completion of a Visual Arts Certificate and Graphic Design Advanced Diploma, I've continued to explore photography as both a hobby, interest and artistic exploration. With themes ranging from portraiture, to fetish, to event photography, and back again, I've been on a visual meander through many different subjects.

Using knowledge I've gained through experimentation and traditional design principles I aim to capture the best of what can be seen through the viewfinder. I have exhibited my photographic work both locally and internationally, from Adelaide Central Gallery to the Echo Gallery In Chicago, USA.

Unlike many other photographers out there, I have a true passion for photography as an art form, and a strong respect for women as opposed to using a camera as a tool to exploit them. I am always interested in collaborating with creative, experienced models with a professional attitude (however, arrogance can be left at the door)

If you are interested in seeing my photographic packages price list please contact me and I shall send them through. Packages start from $100au.

I very rarely undertake TFCD shoots. When I do, I have a three to six month delay in editing/supply of the photos (minimum), and will in most cases, only edit one to two shots per outfit/theme, as I believe there is no need for more for a photographer/model portfolio. If more edited photos are desired from a tfcd shoot, then payment will be required for editing time. I supply edited photos as branded jpg files for online use, costs for prints will be supplied when requested. All tfcd shoot models will be required to sign a model release form prior to the shoot commencing. I also do not hand over unedited images, RAW files and/or every photo I take during the shoot, you will, in both TFCD and paid shoot circumstances, get the edited selection only.

"I may participate in modelling, but I don't consider myself a model as such. Too much hype around that word.
I model for artistic and expressive purposes, not to bitch about everything."

Mmm I'm looked at your work for a good while now so it's nice to read a bit from the person behind the camera.
Though by the title I thought perhaps you might tell us all the reason behind your online name bIIIIIIIIIIIII

the b||||||||||||| is an online representation of the blogo thats seen on my work. it started back in the day from a barcode font, where the barcode bit of the logo was made from the 'rent' of my name .. hence the logo as per the font is b'rent'

a bit of a humourous compent on me being for hire and playing with my name some ;)

and no it doesnt scan for those others who ask lol

*shrugs*

I don't blame the designer half darling. I blame the balance half in you, and the rules of life and knowledge. Hell, I've been doing this for such a little amount of time and am green as they come but have already started to take on your own approach on said subjects as my own inspiration.

we all go through the 'workhorse' mode here and there, logic states i do the paid workhorse thing rather than the just for fun and pretty pictures 'workhorse' thing lol
... not that i stop doing the fun ones, i've just set personal rules and boundaries now, so i don't get shit from ppl used to photog's that hand over cd's full of half arsed unedited images lol, or those that think they always get to choose what photos they want edited :) in my world ill pick which ones i can use, and shortlist ones i think they can use, and thats all she wrote in terms of editing ;)

that and as a bit of friendly advice to those lost in the tfcd land, that sometimes things have to change for the sanity of photographers as much as models lol
